One of the most interesting games of round 17 was a derby match between two teams from Belgium. Twelfth ranked Leuven Bears edged visiting Limburg United (9-8) 90-89 . It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Limburg United. Leuven made 30-of-37 free shots (81.1 percent) during the game. Swingman Tytan Anderson (198, college: UNI) stepped up and scored 36 points (!!!) and 8 rebounds for the winners and American guard Will Pruitt (190, college: Lipscomb) chipped in 13 points and 6 assists. Forward Wout Leemans (192-2001) responded with 20 points and 5 assists and American guard Nicolas Timberlake (193-1998, college: Kansas) scored 18 points (was perfect 10-for-10 from the free throw line !!!). Five Limburg players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Leuven (8-9) moved-up to eleventh place. Loser Limburg United dropped to the tenth position with eight games lost.
